The National Games Development Committee is proud to announce the launch of its Coach Recognition Awards Programme, 
a nationwide initiative designed to celebrate the vital role coaches play in nurturing players, strengthening communities, and promoting the values of Gaelic Games.

The Coach Recognition Awards will honour coaches across a variety of categories, including:

  • Overall Coach of the Year
  • Nursery Coach of the Year
  • Children’s Coach of the Year
  • Club Coach of the Year
  • Primary School Teacher of the Year
  • Post Primary School Teacher of the Year
  • Talent Academy Coach of the Year
  • All Star Programme of the Year 
The programme will highlight the values of respect, inclusion, development, and community spirit that define great coaching in the GAA.

Nominations open on Monday 13th of October and all members of the GAA family — players, parents, fellow coaches, officers, and supporters — are encouraged to put forward those who have made a meaningful difference in their club or county. Closing Date Monday 15th of December
